  1. [+] Flexible User Hierarchy - Parallels Small Business Panel features a simple yet flexible user hierarchy that allows Administrator to grant users a variety of management privileges through the User Roles feature.

  2. [+] Small and Medium Business End-User Experience - All aspects of the Parallels Small Business Panel were specifically designed to address the needs of small and medium businesses.

  3. [+] New Licensing Model - Parallels Small Business Panel is using a new licensing model that operates with user accounts instead of websites. This model reflects the needs of small and medium businesses, providing them with a good deal of flexibility and business opportunities. Additional employees can be accommodated by purchasing User Packs, which come in different sizes to satisfy different business needs.

  4. [+] Domain and Website Management - Parallels Small Business Panel offers a variety of powerful functionality for managing domain names and websites. Panel users, if granted with such privilege, can easily manage DNS zones, subdomains, databases, domain aliases, and other hosting features.

  5. [+] Integrated Site Editor Tool - Site Editor is a powerful, flexible and easy-to-use tool that allows Administrator to quickly create company website from scratch.

  6. [+] User-Oriented Application Provisioning - Installed applications are provisioned to users through User Roles. Shortcuts to installed applications are placed on the My Services pages of all users who were assigned the corresponding User Roles.

  7. [+] Single-Point Application Access - All applications provided to a user are available from their My Services page, which eliminates the need for browsing different Panel pages to get to different applications.

  8. [+] Application Marketplace Integration - Parallels Small Business Panel is closely integrated with Application Marketplace where best-of-breed applications of all kinds are sold.

  9. [+] File Sharing - Company employees can store their files on the server, share these files with other employees and provide persons of their choice with secure links to these files. Selected users can be given the privilege to publish available files online for public access and to protect the access to these files with a password.

  10. [+] Company Employee Directory - The list of user accounts is available to all users, serving as a company employee directory. Contact information specified in user account properties is also visible to all users, which improves work communications.

  11. [+] Simple and Elegant Interface - Parallels Small Business Panel features a completely redesigned, clean, simple and elegant interface that allows users to perform their duties quickly and efficiently.

6. Notes on Installation and Upgrade

IMPORTANT:
If you are using an operating system from SUSE family: Before installing Parallels Small Business Panel, switch the AppArmor service off using the command '/etc/init.d/boot.apparmor stop' and remove it from start-up list by 'chkconfig --del boot.apparmor stop'
If you are using an operating system from RedHat family: Before installing Parallels Small Business Panel, switch SELinux off by running command 'setenforce 0' in shell. After you have installed Parallels Small Business Panel, switch SELinux on by running command 'setenforce 1'
