What's New in API RPC

The chapter briefly enumerates new features added to the protocol.

1. The operators list is extended by the following new operators:
   • Customer
   • Webspace
   • Service plan
   • Service plan addon
   • Reseller plan
   • Site
   • Site alias
   • User
   • Role
   • APS
     
2. New features of the reseller operator:
   • Get a list of plans that have subscriptions
   • Create a reseller by a plan GUID
   • Switch a subscription to another plan
   • Lock/unlock a subscription
   • Manage resellers by ID assigned by the Panel components
   • New limit for a number of sites published with SiteBuilder
   • New overuse state
   • New allow_insecure_site permission and max_unity_mobile_sites limit
     
3. New features of the migration operator:
   • Specify content transport(rsync or archive) for Linux OSes
     
4. New features of the server operator:
   • Switch the Control Panel mode (Power User or standard)
   • Server GUID, the Control Panel mode, and VPS-optimized status are returned when you request the general information
     
5. New features of the mail operator:
   • Assign a mail account to a webspace user
     
6. New features of the certificate operator:
   • Assign an SSL certificate to an IP address
