Starting from API RPC 1.5.0.0. there are two possible ways of retrieving web user settings. In API RPC v.1.4.2.0 and earlier, web user services are parameter-dependable. In other protocol versions, they are parameter-undependable.
Web user preferences are not affected by this variation of approaches.
