Command Line Utilities Overview

Parallels Plesk Panel command line interface (CLI) is designed for integration of Parallels Plesk Panel Server Administrator with third-party applications. It can also be used for managing Parallels Plesk Panel instances by administrators experienced in using Parallels Plesk Panel and Microsoft Windows command line. This feature provides the command line interface to the majority of management tasks that can be performed by Parallels Plesk Panel administrator. Parallels Plesk Panel CLI provides the alternative means of control for various business objects in Parallels Plesk Panel. Parallels Plesk Panel command line utilities use the Parallels Plesk Panel core functionality to create, manage, and delete clients, domains, services and other Parallels Plesk Panel objects.

A command line utility either duplicates functions available through Parallels Plesk Panel GUI, or performs operations beyond Parallels Plesk Panel GUI scope. Depending on this, each utility belongs to the Standard or Extended group.
