To create a new custom button, follow these steps:
Click the
Add
New Custom Button icon on the Custom
Buttons Management page. The Custom button editing page opens:

Enter the button label in the Button label field.
Select the location for a new button in the control panel. If you select Domain administration page, the button will be placed on the Domain start page (Domains->Domain name). In case of the Client Home page, the button will be placed on the client start page (Clients->Client name). In case of the Navigation pane, the button will be placed in the left menu pane.
Select the priority for the new button (display order).
Select the background for the new button. An image must have a 32x32 px size.
Type the URL link to be attached to the button into the URL field.
Using the checkboxes, specify whether to include the data, such as domain id, client id, company name, client's contact name, and the client's e-mail to be transferred within the URL. These data can be required for processing by external web applications.
In the Context help tip contents input field, type in the help tip that will be displayed when users hover the mouse pointer over the button.
Select the Open URL inside the Control Panel checkbox, if you wish the destination URL to be opened in the control panel right frame, otherwise leave this checkbox unchecked to open the URL in a separate browser window.
Click OK to complete creation.
Once the button is created, a corresponding entry is added to the list. You can sort the list in ascending or descending order by the button properties, clicking the respective column heading. To search in the list, enter a search pattern in the input box, and click Search. All matching items will be displayed in a reduced list. Click Show All to revert to displaying the entire list:
