PLESK MODULES

Section 2.2.4 Module Files

Here are included module service files, including start scripts for the service, and other functionality. They can be presented as binary executable files, connected libraries, executable scenarios, etc.

Note: A module distributive should not necessarily include files implementing the module functionality itself. For example, all functionality is already contained in the system in the form of a service, while the module represents this service management interface integrated in Plesk (for example, a management interface for a firewall).

If the distributive does contain such files, the installation scripts then serve for placing these files in the system, registering them and setting required permissions.

Note: In case the established module demands modification in a file httpsd.conf it is necessary to create a file/usr/local/psa/admin/conf/httpsd. <module_name> .include in which required changes are included.
