Introduction To Plesk Auto Updater

Plesk Auto Updater can now keep your Plesk control panel up-to-date automatically with the latest updates and enhancements. You no longer have to search for updates and information; Plesk Auto Updater delivers them directly to your server.

You can specify how and when you want Auto Updater to update your Plesk server, or you can update it manually. For example, you can set up Updater to automatically download and install updates on a schedule you specify. Or you can choose to have Updater notify you whenever it finds updates available for your server; you will then download the updates and install them.

Note the following:

• To modify Auto Updater settings, you must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group.
• The Auto Updater might prompt you to restart your server after certain components are installed. Please restart when prompted; otherwise, your control panel might not work properly.
• You can always install specific updates from the SWsoft, Inc. web site: http://register.swsoft.com/login.php?redirect_page=patches
• If you are using a firewall, you may need an FTP access to the download site to be able to download new updates: ftp://download1.swsoft.com
