Compiling Skin into Installable Package

Skin package is an .msi file ready-to-install in Plesk Sitebuilder. Compilation of installable skin packages is performed by the compiler included into Plesk Sitebuilder SDK.

Prior to launching the compilation process, note that:

• The root directory of a skin must contain the info.xml file and at least one .css file
• The compiled .msi skin package will contain the info.xml file in the root directory and all files from root directory and subdirectories which have the following extensions:
  • .css
  • .skin
  • .jpg
  • .jpe
  • .jpeg
  • .gif
  • .png

To compile an installable skin package:

1. In the Windows Explorer, right-click the skin directory.
2. Select the Plesk Sitebuilder Skins Compiler option.

   A window displaying the results of the compilation process opens. Besides, the log file compilation.log will be saved on your local drive in the root directory.

If the compilation process has been completed successfully, the [skin directory name].msi file appears in the same level as the skin directory.
